− ifconfig -a

− chkconfig -list

− mount

• Contents of the following files:

− /var/log/messages

− /etc/modules.conf or etc/conf.modules

− /etc/lilo.conf or /etc/grub.conf

− /etc/fstab

• If HP drivers are installed:
